Virginia High School Basketball - Hylton holds off Colonial Forge
January 4, 2024: Stafford, VA 22554 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Hylton Bulldogs (Woodbridge, VA) and the host Colonial Forge Eagles (Stafford, VA), saw Hylton's basketball squad hold off Colonial Forge by a tally of 41-40.
With the victory, Hylton improves its record to 2-12 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Woodbridge (Woodbridge, VA) to confront the Vikings in a Cardinal challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 6-7. Woodbridge lost 52-48 in their recent league challenge against Potomac Senior (Dumfries, VA)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Riverbend Bears (Fredericksburg, VA) in a Commonwealth challenge, on Friday, January 5. Colonial Forge will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 64-20 non-league win over Eastern View (Culpeper, VA).
