California High School Basketball - Colton overwhelms Jurupa Valley
January 4, 2024: Jurupa Valley, CA 91752 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Colton Yellowjackets (Colton, CA) and the host Jurupa Valley Jaguars (Jurupa Valley, CA), saw Colton's basketball squad wallop Jurupa Valley by a tally of 70-41.
With the victory, Colton improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Bloomington (Bloomington, CA) to play the Bruins in a Skyline challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Bloomington lost 32-15 in their recent non-league challenge against Montclair (Montclair, CA)
Next up, the Jaguars play the Norte Vista Braves (Riverside, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Jurupa Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 44-28 league win over La Sierra (Riverside, CA).
