Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lanesville Eagles (Lanesville, IN) and the host Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN), saw Lanesville's basketball squad hold off Floyd Central by a tally of 47-41.

With the victory, Lanesville improves its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Crothersville (Crothersville, IN) to confront the Tigers in a Southern challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 3-12. Crothersville lost 57-11 in their recent non-league challenge against Christian Academy (New Albany, IN)
