Louisiana High School Basketball - Lake Charles College Prep ripped by Pickering
January 4, 2024: Lake Charles, LA 70607 The Pickering Red Devils basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Lake Charles College Prep Trailblazers to 23 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Red Devils now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leesville for a non-league contest on Monday, January 8. Pickering will battle a Wampus Cats team coming off a 56-44 non-league win over Evans (Evans, LA). The Wampus Cats record now stands at 12-8.
The Trailblazers (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Ville Platte (Ville Platte, LA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Ville Platte was routed by Oberlin (Oberlin, LA), 56-31, in a non-league contest.
