Louisiana High School Basketball - Wossman overwhelms Midland
January 4, 2024: Monroe, LA 71202 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Wossman Wildcats (Monroe, LA) and the visiting Midland Rebels (Midland, LA), saw Wossman's basketball squad wallop Midland by a tally of 70-34.
With the victory, Wossman improves its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA) to play the Terriers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Terriers come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Vandebilt Catholic won 51-18 in their recent non-league challenge against E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA)
Next up, the Rebels play the Bell City Bruins (Bell City, LA) in a B District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Midland will attempt to improve on its 15-7 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 14-5 record after their 49-27 non-league win over Grand Lake (Lake Charles, LA).
