Florida High School Basketball - Tampa Prep can't hold off Chamberlain
January 4, 2024: Tampa, FL 33606 The Chamberlain Storm basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Tampa Prep Terrapins to 45 in the Storm non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Storm now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Countryside for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Chamberlain will battle a Cougars team coming off a 50-39 non-league win over St. Petersburg Catholic (St. Petersburg, FL). The Cougars record now stands at 2-3.
The Terrapins (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop McLaughlin Catholic (Spring Hill, FL). The Hurricanes enter the contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Bishop McLaughlin Catholic was nudged by Keswick Christian (St. Petersburg, FL), 46-13, in a non-league contest.
