In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals basketball team scored a decisive 68-26 triumph over the Jackson Day Mariners.

In their next game, the Cardinals meet the Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 5. Corvian Community will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record.
