Maryland High School Basketball - McLean overwhelms Model Secondary School for the Deaf
January 4, 2024: Potomac, MD 20854 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the McLean (Potomac, MD) and the visiting Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles (Washington, DC), saw McLean's basketball squad wallop Model Secondary School for the Deaf by a tally of 53-27.
With the victory, McLean improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The travel to Washington International (Washington, DC) to confront the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 31. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests (Sandy Spring, MD) in a challenge, on Monday, January 8. Model Secondary School for the Deaf will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Wildebeests come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 58-42 non-league win over Takoma Academy (Takoma Park, MD).
