Colorado High School Basketball - Palmer Ridge tops Widefield
January 4, 2024: Monument, CO 80132 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO) and the visiting Widefield Gladiators (Colorado Springs, CO), saw Palmer Ridge's basketball squad knock off Widefield by a tally of 48-40.
With the victory, Palmer Ridge improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Elizabeth (Elizabeth, CO) to play the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 0-2.
Next up, the Gladiators play the Canon City Tigers (Canon City, CO) in a challenge, on Monday, January 8. Widefield will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 55-46 non-league loss to Pueblo West (Pueblo West, CO).
