Iowa High School Basketball - Ankeny nips Linn-Mar
January 4, 2025: Ankeny, IA 50021 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Ankeny Hawks basketball team scored a close 61-55 triumph over the Linn-Mar Lions.
The Hawks (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Ankeny Centennial (Ankeny, IA). The Jaguars go into the Central Iowa Metro - East contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Ankeny Centennial was tipped by Johnston (Johnston, IA), 52-37, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Waterloo West Wahawks (Waterloo, IA) in a Mississippi Valley contest, on Friday, January 10. Linn-Mar will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record.
