In Saturday's non-league test, the Gwynn Park Yellowjackets (Brandywine, MD) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD), by a score of 66-55.

Next, the Yellowjackets encounter the College Park Academy (Riverdale, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A test, on Tuesday, January 7. Gwynn Park will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The come into the test with a 0-5 record after their 108-40 non-league loss to Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD).

The Braves (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Patuxent (Lusby, MD). The Panthers come into the Southern Maryland test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Patuxent was knocked off by Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD), 49-47, in a non-league test.
