Illinois High School Basketball - West Aurora victorious over Elmwood Park
January 4, 2025: Elmwood Park, IL 60707 In Saturday's league contest, the visiting West Aurora Blackhawks basketball team scored a good 58-45 triumph over the Elmwood Park Tigers.
The Blackhawks (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Elgin (Elgin, IL). The Maroons go into the Upstate Eight contest with a 2-16 record. In their last contest, Elgin was topped by Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL), 59-16, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL) in a Upstate Eight contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Elmwood Park will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Rams go into the contest with a 7-4 record after their 74-52 non-league win over Timothy Christian (Elmhurst, IL).
