The Fortune Early College Panthers were victorious over the host Ponderosa Bruins basketball squad by a final score of 84-71 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Westlake Charter Explorers (Sacramento, CA) in a Northern Pacific Athletic Conference outing, on Tuesday, January 7. Fortune Early College will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Explorers enter the outing with a 10-1 record after their 73-23 non-league win over Lindhurst (Olivehurst, CA).

The Bruins (4-12) will now prepare for their outing against Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA). The Broncos enter the Capital Valley Conference outing with a 6-9 record. In their last outing, Bella Vista was defeated by Antelope (Antelope, CA), 66-56, in a non-league outing.
