January 4, 2025: Kirkland, IL 60146 The North Shore Country Day Raiders (Winnetka, IL) basketball were winner over the host Hiawatha Hawks (Kirkland, IL), 55-38 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Raiders now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Beacon Academy for a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 8. North Shore Country Day will play a Trailblazers team coming off a 57-44 non-league loss to Francis W. Parker (Chicago, IL). The Trailblazers record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Hiawatha falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Earlville (Earlville, IL) to play the Red Raiders in a Little Ten bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 3-13. Earlville lost 43-36 in their recent non-league bout against Marquette (Ottawa, IL)
