Illinois High School Basketball - Huntley fells Hononegah
January 4, 2025: Huntley, IL 60142 The Huntley Red Raiders basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Hononegah Indians to 40 in the Red Raiders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Red Raiders now have a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Crystal Lake South for a Fox Valley game on Wednesday, January 8. Huntley will confront a Gators team coming off a 69-47 non-league loss to Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL). The Gators record now stands at 11-3.
With the loss, Hononegah falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Indians host Belvidere (Belvidere, IL) to confront the Bucs in a Northern Illinois 10 game on Wednesday, January 8. The Bucs go into the game with a record of 5-10. Belvidere lost 57-47 in their recent non-league game against Oregon (Oregon, IL)
