January 4, 2025: La Habra, CA 90631 Whittier Christian Heralds (La Habra, CA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Hoover Tornados (Glendale, CA), 73-52 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Whittier Christian advances its record to 11-8 on the year. The Heralds travel to Maranatha (Pasadena, CA) to face the Minutemen in a Olympic challenge on Tuesday, January 7. The Minutemen come into the challenge with a record of 6-13. Maranatha lost 50-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Millikan (Long Beach, CA)
In their next game, the Tornados encounter the Muir Mustangs (Pasadena, CA) in a Pacific challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Hoover will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 54-44 non-league win over Serra (Gardena, CA).
