With the victory, Mason City advances its record to 3-3 on the year. The Mohawks travel to Fort Dodge (Fort Dodge, IA) to face the Dodgers in a non-league match on Monday, January 6. The Dodgers enter the match with a record of 2-5. Fort Dodge won 58-50 in their recent non-league match against Des Moines East/Reed Christian Academy (Des Moines, IA)
The Wildcats now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Edmond for a North Central match on Tuesday, January 7. Humboldt will face a Gaels squad coming off a 77-20 non-league win over South Hamilton (Jewell, IA). The Gaels record now stands at 7-0.
