Ohio High School Basketball - Valley Forge can't hold off John Hay
January 4, 2025: Parma Heights, OH 44130 John Hay (Cleveland, OH) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Valley Forge Patriots (Parma Heights, OH), 55-53 in a non-league contest.
The (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against East Tech (Cleveland, OH). The Scarabs come into the Senate contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, East Tech was tipped by Chaminade Julienne Catholic (Dayton, OH), 70-48, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Bay Rockets (Bay Village, OH) in a Cleveland West contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Valley Forge will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Rockets come into the contest with a 7-4 record after their 68-54 league loss to Westlake (Westlake, OH).
