Lancaster Eagles (Lancaster, CA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Pacifica Tritons (Oxnard, CA), 76-71 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Lancaster advances its record to 6-11 on the year. The Eagles travel to Eastside (Lancaster, CA) to face the Lions in a Golden match on Tuesday, January 7. The Lions enter the match with a record of 9-8. Eastside won 62-42 in their recent non-league match against Del Oro (Bakersfield, CA)

The Tritons now own a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oxnard for a Channel match on Monday, January 6. Pacifica will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 54-33 non-league win over Shalhevet (Los Angeles, CA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 10-4.
