The Walnut Wildcats basketball squad (Walnut, MS), was outscored 73-55 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Lawrence County Red Devils (Moulton, AL)

With the victory, Lawrence County advances its record to 10-10 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Decatur (Decatur, AL) to meet the Red Raiders in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Red Raiders enter the battle with a record of 10-12. Decatur won 82-63 in their recent non-league battle against Haleyville (Haleyville, AL)
