Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Odyssey Institute Minotaur (Buckeye, AZ), 55-51 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Metro Tech advances its record to 1-16 on the year. The Knights host NFL Yet Academy (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Thursday, January 9. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 2-5.

The Minotaur now own a 0-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fountain Hills for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. Odyssey Institute will face a Falcons squad coming off a 35-33 non-league win over Arizona Lutheran Academy (Phoenix, AZ). The Falcons record now stands at 8-3.
