South Dakota High School Basketball - Platte/Geddes nips Milbank
January 4, 2025: Platte, SD 57369 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Platte/Geddes Black Panthers basketball team scored a close 58-51 triumph over the Milbank Bulldogs.
The Black Panthers (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lennox (Lennox, SD). The Orioles go into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Lennox nipped Canton (Canton, SD), 90-23, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Britton-Hecla Braves (Britton, SD) in a A Region 1 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Milbank will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Braves go into the contest with a 3-1 record after their 55-45 non-league win over Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] (Rosholt, SD).
