January 4, 2025: Hattiesburg, MS 39401 Presbyterian Christian Bobcats (Hattiesburg, MS) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Wayne Academy Jaguars (Waynesboro, MS), 63-25 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Presbyterian Christian advances its record to 16-4 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Madison-Ridgeland Academy (Madison, MS) to face the Patriots in a MAIS 6A District 1 match on Tuesday, January 7. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 9-6.
The Jaguars now own a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lamar for a MAIS 5A District 2 match on Tuesday, January 7. Wayne Academy will face a Raiders squad coming off a 61-39 league win over Park Place Christian Academy (Pearl, MS). The Raiders record now stands at 4-11.
