In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Uintah Utes basketball team scored a good 52-34 triumph over the Emery Spartans.

The Utes (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against South Summit (Kamas, UT). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record.

In their next game, the Spartans confront the Carbon Dinos (Price, UT) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 8. Emery will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record.
