New Mexico High School Basketball - Wingate bested by Hot Springs
January 4, 2025: Truth or Consequences, NM 87901 Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Wingate Bears (Fort Wingate, NM), 41-25 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Hot Springs advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Tigers travel to Tularosa (Tularosa, NM) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 0-2.
The Bears now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crownpoint for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 15.
