California High School Basketball - Sweetwater overwhelms Bayfront Charter
January 4, 2025: Chula Vista, CA 91911 The Sweetwater Red Devils basketball team scored 43 points and limited the host Bayfront Charter Sharks to 21 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Red Devils now have a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Bonita Vista for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. Sweetwater will confront a Barons team coming off a 49-40 non-league loss to Brawley (Brawley, CA). The Barons record now stands at 3-11.
With the loss, Bayfront Charter falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to San Diego Jewish Academy (San Diego, CA) to confront the Lions in a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. The Lions go into the game with a record of 1-1. San Diego Jewish Academy lost 52-19 in their recent non-league game against San Diego Academy (National City, CA)
