Tennessee High School Basketball - Bearden knocks off Cresset Christian Academy
January 4, 2025: Knoxville, TN 37919 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Bearden Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 69-61 win over the Cresset Christian Academy Eagles.
The Bulldogs (16-3) will now prepare for their contest against William Blount (Maryville, TN). The Governors come into the 4A District 4 contest with a 3-14 record. In their last contest, William Blount was topped by Heritage (Maryville, TN), 58-28, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Knoxville Catholic Fighting Irish (Knoxville, TN) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 4. Cresset Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 17-3 season record. The Fighting Irish come into the test with a 10-8 record after their 43-33 non-league loss to Cocke County (Newport, TN).
