Texas High School Basketball - Bishop Lynch holds off Episcopal
January 4, 2025: Bellaire, TX 77401 The Bishop Lynch Friars basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Episcopal Knights to 47 in the Friars non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Friars now possess a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Nolan Catholic for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. Bishop Lynch will confront a Vikings team coming off a 48-45 non-league loss to Greenhill (Addison, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 17-12.
With the loss, Episcopal falls to 10-9 on the campaign. The Knights host Concordia Lutheran (Tomball, TX) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Crusaders go into the game with a record of 14-7. Concordia Lutheran won 54-17 in their recent non-league game against The Woodlands Christian Academy (The Woodlands, TX)
