The Canterbury Cougars basketball squad (Fort Myers, FL), was crushed 67-42 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host The First Academy Royals (Orlando, FL)

With the victory, The First Academy advances its record to 13-3 on the year. The Royals host Timothy Christian (Elmhurst, IL) to meet the Trojans in a non-league battle on Friday, January 10. The Trojans enter the battle with a record of 7-7. Timothy Christian won 57-29 in their recent non-league battle against Westmont (Westmont, IL)

The Cougars now own a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Lee County for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 8. Canterbury will meet a Jaguars squad coming off a 46-39 non-league loss to Island Coast (Cape Coral, FL). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-11.
