With the victory, Fairfield advances its record to 2-8 on the year. The Lions host Miami Trace (Washington Court House, OH) to meet the Panthers in a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 8. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 7-6. Miami Trace lost 37-34 in their recent non-league battle against North Adams (Seaman, OH)
The Panthers now own a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Green for a Southern Ohio I battle on Thursday, January 9. Clay will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 56-38 non-league win over Grace Christian (Huntington, WV). The Bobcats record now stands at 10-1.
