The Fairview Panthers (Grant, LA) basketball edged the host Iowa Yellowjackets (Iowa, LA), 90-87 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Panthers now possess a 24-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hicks for a B District 4 bout on Tuesday, January 14. Fairview will play a Pirates team coming off a 61-34 non-league win over Holden (Holden, LA). The Pirates record now stands at 10-14.
