In Saturday's non-league test, the First Presbyterian Day Vikings (Macon, GA) basketball squad got by the visiting Gatewood Gators (Eatonton, GA), by a score of 39-36.

Next, the Vikings clash with the Mount de Sales Academy Cavaliers (Macon, GA) in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 test, on Tuesday, January 7. First Presbyterian Day will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Cavaliers come into the test with a 8-5 record after their 36-32 non-league loss to Gatewood (Eatonton, GA).
