Colorado High School Basketball - Fossil Ridge triumphant over Severance

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Fossil Ridge SaberCats (Fort Collins, CO) and the visiting Severance Silver Knights (Severance, CO), observed Fossil Ridge's basketball team overwhelm Severance by a margin of 60-26.

The SaberCats (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Loveland (Loveland, CO). The Red Wolves come into the 6A/5A/4A Northern challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Loveland was trounced by Greeley Central (Greeley, CO), 55-42, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Silver Knights battle the Timnath Cubs (Timnath, CO) in a 5A/4A Longs Peak challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Severance will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Cubs come into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 62-10 non-league win over Prospect Ridge Academy (Broomfield, CO).
