The Powers Catholic Chargers (Flint, MI) basketball were winner over the visiting Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI), 65-46 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Chargers now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Pleasant for a Saginaw Valley bout on Tuesday, January 7.

With the loss, Grosse Pointe South falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI) to play the Tars in a non-league bout on Friday, January 10. The Tars go into the bout with a record of 4-2.
