January 4, 2025: Highmore, SD 57345 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Highmore/Harrold Pirates (Highmore, SD) and the visiting Wessington Springs Spartans (Wessington Springs, SD), observed Highmore/Harrold's basketball team knock off Wessington Springs by a score of 60-50.
The Pirates (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Stanley County (Fort Pierre, SD). The Buffalos come into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Stanley County dropped by Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD), 44-28, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders (Miller, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Wessington Springs will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 35-25 non-league win over James Valley Christian (Huron, SD).
