Virginia High School Basketball - King's Fork overwhelms Lafayette
January 4, 2025: Suffolk, VA 23434 The King's Fork Bulldogs basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Lafayette Rams to 33 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Deep Creek for a Southeastern game on Tuesday, January 7. King's Fork will confront a Hornets team coming off a 52-46 non-league loss to Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA). The Hornets record now stands at 5-4.
In their next game, the Rams battle the Grafton Clippers (Yorktown, VA) in a Bay Rivers contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Lafayette will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Clippers come into the contest with a 5-3 record after their 46-36 non-league loss to Colonial Forge (Stafford, VA).
