Maine High School Basketball - Messalonskee knocks off Lewiston
January 4, 2025: Oakland, ME 04963 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Messalonskee Eagles basketball team scored a good 48-37 win over the Lewiston Blue Devils.
The Eagles (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME). The Cougars come into the A North contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Mt. Blue was topped by Oxford Hills (South Paris, ME), 78-21, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Oxford Hills Vikings (South Paris, ME) in a AA North contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Lewiston will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 7-2 record after their 78-21 non-league win over Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME).
