South Dakota High School Basketball - Lower Brule nudges Platte/Geddes
January 4, 2025: Lower Brule, SD 57548 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lower Brule Sioux (Lower Brule, SD) and the visiting Platte/Geddes Black Panthers (Platte, SD), observed Lower Brule's basketball team edge Platte/Geddes by a score of 32-28.
The Sioux (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Lyman (Presho, SD). The Raiders come into the B Region 5 challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Lyman edged Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (Forestburg, SD), 57-46, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Black Panthers encounter the Canistota Hawks (Canistota, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 6. Platte/Geddes will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 57-37 non-league win over Oldham-Ramona/Rutland (Ramona, SD).
