The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pahranagat Valley Panthers (Alamo, NV) and the visiting Tonopah Muckers (Tonopah, NV), observed Pahranagat Valley's basketball team knock off Tonopah by a score of 42-33.

The Panthers (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Sandy Valley (Sandy Valley, NV). The Sidewinders come into the 1A South challenge with a 1-6 record.

In their next game, the Muckers encounter the Lund Mustangs (Lund, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. Tonopah will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 67-21 league loss to McDermitt (McDermitt, NV).
