Louisiana High School Basketball - Parkview Baptist overwhelms St. Joseph's Academy
January 4, 2025: Baton Rouge, LA 70808 The Parkview Baptist Eagles basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host St. Joseph's Academy Redstickers to 31 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now have a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Denham Springs for a non-league game on Monday, January 6. Parkview Baptist will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 44-34 non-league win over Brusly (Brusly, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 14-5.
With the loss, St. Joseph's Academy falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Redstickers travel to St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA) to confront the Falcons in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 8. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 7-13. St. Thomas Aquinas lost 41-34 in their recent non-league game against Academy of the Sacred Heart (New Orleans, LA)
