In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Somonauk Bobcats basketball team scored a good 31-21 triumph over the Plano Reapers.

The Bobcats (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Sandwich (Sandwich, IL). The Indians go into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record.
