California High School Soccer - Archbishop Mitty nudged by Whitney
January 4, 2025: San Jose, CA 95129 Whitney Wildcats (Rocklin, CA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Archbishop Mitty Monarchs (San Jose, CA), 1-0 in a non-league battle.
The Wildcats (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against St. Francis (Sacramento, CA). The Troubadours enter the battle with a 7-0 record. In their last battle, St. Francis tipped Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Monarchs battle the St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats (San Francisco, CA) in a battle, on Saturday, January 11. Archbishop Mitty will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 4-1 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Tamalpais (Mill Valley, CA).
