Arizona High School Soccer - Sunrise Mountain nudged by Seton Catholic
January 4, 2025: Chandler, AZ 85032 Seton Catholic Sentinels (Chandler, AZ) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Sunrise Mountain Mustangs (Peoria, AZ), 4-3 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Seton Catholic moves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Sentinels travel to Valley Christian (Chandler, AZ) to meet the Trojans in a 3A Metro match on Thursday, January 9. The Trojans come into the match with a record of 6-3. Valley Christian lost 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Coconino (Flagstaff, AZ)
The Mustangs now sport a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Horizon for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 8. Sunrise Mountain will meet a Huskies team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ). The Huskies record now stands at 4-2.
