January 4, 2025: Waterford, MI 48328 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mott Corsairs (Waterford, MI) and the visiting Adrian Maples (Adrian, MI), witnessed Mott's ice hockey team nip Adrian by a final score of 3-2.
The Corsairs (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI). The Knights come into the Kensington Lakes - North challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Walled Lake Northern was nipped by Adams (Rochester, MI), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Maples battle the Saline Hornets (Saline, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. Adrian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI).
