January 4, 2025: Woodstock, CT 06281 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT) and the host Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT), witnessed Greenwich's ice hockey team defeat Woodstock Academy by a score of 6-1.
The Cardinals (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Notre Dame Prep (Fairfield, CT). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Notre Dame Prep was routed by Pilgrim (Warwick, RI), 4-1, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Centaurs battle the WMRP [Wethersfield/Middletown/Rocky Hill/Plainville] Eagles (Wethersfield, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Woodstock Academy will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record.
