Michigan High School Ice Hockey - Lakeland holds off Heritage
January 4, 2025: Saginaw, MI 48603 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Lakeland Eagles ice hockey team scored a close 4-3 victory over the Heritage Hawks.
The Eagles (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Cranbrook Kingswood (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Cranes go into the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Cranbrook Kingswood edged Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI), 6-1, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Hawks play the Midland Chemics (Midland, MI) in a Saginaw Valley contest, on Wednesday, January 8. Heritage will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Chemics go into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 6-4 league loss to Dow (Midland, MI).
