New Mexico High School Basketball - Albuquerque Academy routs Gallup
January 4, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87109 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Albuquerque Academy Chargers basketball team scored a big 68-31 win over the Gallup Bengals.
The Chargers (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Sartans come into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, St. Pius X smashed Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM), 62-41, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bengals battle the Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Gallup will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 1-6 record after their 82-79 non-league loss to Capital (Santa Fe, NM).
