Hawaii High School Basketball - Baldwin nips Maui
January 4, 2025: Wailuku, HI 96793 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Baldwin Bears (Wailuku, HI) and the visiting Maui Sabers (Kahului, HI), observed Baldwin's basketball team edge Maui by a score of 50-46.
The Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Seabury Hall (Makawao, HI). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Seabury Hall edged Lahainaluna (Lahaina, HI), 58-34, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Sabers battle the King Kekaulike Na Ali'i (Pukalani, HI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 31. Maui will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Na Ali'i come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 42-21 non-league win over Seabury Hall (Makawao, HI).
