Illinois High School Basketball - Leo thwarts Curie
January 4, 2025: Chicago, IL 60632 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Leo Lions (Chicago, IL) and the host Curie Condors (Chicago, IL), observed Leo's basketball team knock off Curie by a score of 50-41.
The Lions (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Rita (Chicago, IL). The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, St. Rita was knocked off by De La Salle (Chicago, IL), 36-24, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Condors encounter the Rich Township Raptors (Olympia Fields, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, January 4. Curie will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Raptors go into the game with a 2-0 record after their 38-23 non-league win over Brother Rice (Chicago, IL).
