Ohio High School Basketball - Riverdale overwhelms Hardin Northern
January 4, 2025: Mt. Blanchard, OH 45867 The Riverdale Falcons basketball team scored 42 points and limited the visiting Hardin Northern Polar Bears to 21 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Falcons now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Ridgemont for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. Riverdale will confront a Golden Gophers team coming off a 45-40 non-league loss to Mt. Gilead (Mt. Gilead, OH). The Golden Gophers record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, Hardin Northern falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Polar bears travel to Van Buren (Van Buren, OH) to confront the Black Knights in a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. The Black Knights go into the game with a record of 3-0.
